Types of Din Rail Enclosures
There are many Types of DIN rail enclosures. DIN rail Enclosures are produced in different sizes, colors, shapes, heights, etc. depending on the industry they are manufactured to. For instance in the Building automation industry DIN 43880 is the most common DIN rail, as it fits the electrical cabinet in regular housings and buildings. In the process manufacturing industry however the DIN IEC 60664 is the most common DIN rail, as it is larger and fits larger electrical cabinets that are used in accommodating a large building height. In the Machine industry they use a mix of both DIN rails depending on the specific case. The width of the enclosures are mainly from 1 module to 15 modules which is 17,5mm up to 262mm.
